We have access to a range of products and services that include low cost, flexible and efficient manufacturing facilities in Australia and around the world producing MIL-SPEC, coax, fibre optic and industrial harnesses and cable assemblies. We can source hard to find components and can offer full soldering, design, assembly and packaging solutions.

Our Quality Management System is certified to ISO9001:2015, and covers the manufacture of harnesses, looms and sub assemblies for the electrical, electronic and technological based industries. We are also authorized to apply Underwriters Limited (U.L.) certification to assemblies we manufacture.

Having a UR listing as well as ISO 9001:2015 exemplifies our emphasis on a dynamic quality program, especially for customers for whom traceability is essential. Our commitment to quality also relies upon the use of recognised quality components from connector manufacturers such as Tyco Electronics, Molex, JST and Amphenol. Our state of the art processing equipment, combined with our innovative quality research, ensures the efficiency required to provide the highest quality product cost-effectively.

Capabilities

We have state of the art wire processing equipment such as a Komax Alpha 356 fully automatic crimping machine. This machine has room for up to seven applicators and can process wire up to 6mm². It has a built in quality management system that measures both crimp height and pull out force, ensuring consistent crimping throughout the run. We also have a variety of strip and terminate machines from leading suppliers around the world including Schleuniger and Tyco Electronics.

Open Wiring Systems has years of experience in soldering, coaxial and MIL-SPEC cable assemblies. We can help you with the design of your next project and sourcing of difficult to find components.
